The editorial standard
Make it useful. Make it yours.
Every article should help a reader make a better marketing decision or put an idea into practice. Please follow these requirements before submitting.
-
Bring original work and experience
Submit an original, unpublished article written for our audience. Add your own analysis, examples, or lessons learned. We do not accept plagiarism, rewritten copies of existing articles, or unedited AI output. You are responsible for the accuracy and originality of any AI-assisted work.
-
Go deep enough to be actionable
Aim for 1,200–2,000 words, without padding. Use clear English, descriptive headings, short paragraphs, and a useful conclusion. Include steps, examples, or a framework readers can apply. A focused topic matters more than hitting an exact word count.
-
Back up your claims
Link to credible, current sources for data, research, and quotations. For case studies, explain the context, timeframe, and results. Use only information you have permission to share, and remove confidential client or customer details.
-
Keep links relevant and transparent
Include links that help explain or support the article. Avoid keyword stuffing, promotional copy, affiliate links, and links added only for SEO. Disclose any relationship with a product or company you mention. All links are subject to editorial review; placement and dofollow links are not guaranteed.
-
Prepare a readable draft and visuals
Share a Google Doc with viewing access enabled or a Word document. If images, charts, or screenshots help explain your idea, include them with captions, source credits, and suggested alt text. Use visuals you own or have permission to publish.
-
Introduce the person behind the article
Include your name, role, and a 50–80 word author bio describing your relevant experience. You may suggest one website or professional profile link for your bio. Add links to one or two published writing samples if available.
